Yang di-Pertuan Agong Scholarships 2011

Introduction

Public Service Department has open invitations for qualified Malaysia citizen to apply for BIASISWA YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG TAHUN 2011 to pursue Master Degree or PhD. Programme locally or abroad leading to Science & Technology, Economy or Law programme.

• 6 for Master Degree programme
• 6 for Ph.D. programme

Value of Scholarship

• In Malaysia RM1,760.00 (Master Degree)/ RM 2,500 (Ph.D.)
• Amerika Syarikat USD 1,923.00
• United Kingdom £ 1,639.50
• Australia AUD 2,070.00
• New Zealand NZD 2,174.00

Eligibility Criteria

• Malaysia citizens
• Age not more than 30 years during application
• Holds a recognized bachelor Degree/ Master Degree with a minimum of CGPA 3.75 or equivalent.
• Active in co-curriculum activities
• Preference will be given to those able to speak third international language.
• Obtained a place at local universities or reputable universities abroad (Ivy League) in Science & Technology, Economy or Law programme.

Service Bond

The scholars are required to return to Malaysia upon completion of studies and to serve the Government for a minimum period of 5 years.
