Vacancy for Research Officer (RO) Position

Project Name: Robust and Reusable Synchronization Schemes for Object-Oriented Software
Funded By: eScience Grant from Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation
Project Members: Nathar Shah (Leader), Dr. Ian Chai, and Prof. Eswaran
Salary: About RM 2300 (inclusive of EPF and SOCSO)
Location: Faculty of Information Technology, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s degree with honours in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering, preferably 2nd Class Upper or above
  • Good skills in Java programming
  • Strong in Object-Oriented programming concepts and multi-threading
  • Knowledge in Aspect-Oriented programming is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines
  • Good communication and writing skills in English

Job Descriptions:

  • The RO must assist the project leader and members in conducting research for the project. This includes performing studies, investigations, experiments, and writing research papers.
  • The RO is encouraged to register and obtain Masters Degree by Research in Multimedia University (Cyberjaya), Malaysia. The Masters Degree research will be related to the project scope.
  • To perform other activities/tasks (if any) as instructed by the project leader.
